Meta Translator

This script combines the power behind our Alt-text Automator with interactive forms in Adobe InDesign. This script gives you the ability to add translations for multiple languages inside your form tool tips in an instant. Speed up your translation workflow for your InDesign documents in these easy steps:

1. Run the script once to extract your tool tip descriptions from your forms to a database
2. Open the resulting CSV file and add your own columns for each language and save the document
3. Send out the file or translate locally and save as many columns as you like.
4. Run the script again and choose the language you want to add. The script will automatically identify the languages based on the column headings you created.
5. Click Ok and instantly the file is changed. Now just save a new version and repeat for as many languages as you have.
